Avanafil is a brand new experimental medication for erectile dysfunction.
Erectile dysfunction (or impotence) is a health condition that prohibits penile erection. Factors that contribute to ED are anything from stress and poor health habits like smoking, to health-related illness like diabetes, and aging.
Avanafil was found in clinical trial conducted on 1250 test subjects to be safe and effective. At a 200 mg dose, Avanafil:
- Gave erections sufficient for penetration in 77% and 63% of Avanafil patients compared to 54% and 42% of placebo patients
- Helped produce successful intercourse for 57% and 40% of Avanafil patients compared to 27% and 20% of placebo patients
Avanfil was also found to work for most test subjects within 15 minutes, which is 15 minutes faster than Viagra, and side effects from Avanafil were minimal (mild headaches, back pain and sinus congestion.)
Unfortunately Avanafil has yet to be released for sale pending FDA approval.
